A early 19th century french provincial cabinet or wedding cabinet made of solid oak. An authentic piece of furniture whose particular appeal lies in the combination of clear classic design and the charming texture of the old oak wood surface. Traditionally crafted in stud construction, the oak body is moulded on the sides, with an overlying profiled cornice. Two doors, hung on external iron fittings, in frame construction with 3 panels each. Original iron fittings, lock and key. Inside, the cabinet is fitted with 3 shelves.
